When trying to run get-smproperty using Powershell 3, One will receive an error similar to the following:

1. Open Powershell V3
2. Import SMlets module
3. Run : get-smproperty -classname [classname guid from XML or SCSMAuthoring Tool]
Workaround:
1. Open powershell v2 (start > run > powershell -v 2)
2. Run commands as normal.
